The overall aim is for candidates to acquire knowledge and practical skills to manage health and safety issues in their workplace.
The course is designed for anyone with responsibility for managing health and safety who require a broad based knowledge in health and safety and have a need to develop practical safe systems of work.
At the end of the course, delegates will be able to: -
The course comprises of seven core modules delivered over 4 days.
Delegates must allocate sufficient time after the course for completing a workplace based assignment.
Delegates who attend and successfully complete both the practical and written assessments will be awarded the nationally recognised Managing Safety Certificate issued by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). The practical assessment must be completed in the delegate’s workplace and submitted within two weeks of completing the course.
Course Duration: Four days plus workplace assessment.
